Wheatley, where we spent our second night, is located just a few kilometers from Point Pelee, the southern most part of main land Canada. The qualification mainland is relevant as Middle Island is the southern most point in Canada, and that island is about 35 kilomters off the Point. Point Pelee is on the same latitude as northern California.
Below is a picture of Linda at the tip. Behind her you can see the actual tip of land which is the southern most part of the mainland. I’m hard pressed to explain that while Linda is standing up straight, the lake appears to be tilted.
