We received answer from China, and unfortunately, things are not getting better at this time. All kinds of tourists are forbidden to go to Tibet, Tibet Tourist Bureau will not issue the permit. It is not allowed for hotels to accept the tourists. They are not sure how long it will take, maybe after Olympic Games. If china office does not receive any good news by the first week of April, they are going to cancel May departures. So, I think we should look at other alternatives at this time.
