We attended the opening of the play Bodas de Sangre [1] on Friday. While the play is entirely in Spanish, I was able to pick out enough to get an understanding of the flow. Words are often highly over rated; the energy of the acting came through and that was enough to make it a very enjoyable play.
The play stared a friend of ours (second from left in the above photograph) in the role of una vecina (a neighbour). She was billed above otra vecina (another neighbour).
The show was well acted and produced. Much better than one might anticipate from a community-based theatre production.
