These waters eventually flow into the Don River, which flows into Lake Ontario, down the St. Lawrence River into the Atlantic, where it will be carried by the Gulf Stream over to the North Atlantic Drift. With any luck it will catch the Canary Stream south to the Northern Equatorial Stream, across the Atlantic to the Caribbean and into the Gulf of Mexico. The water will be evaporated, formed into clouds and carried north up the Mississippi River Basin by prevailing weather patterns where it will reach Thornhill and drop as rain back into these waters.
