Going Green

I checked into my flight from home last night. There was a difference in the process; may be because I was not flying internationally. I was given the choice of a paper or electronic boarding pass. So I took the latter.
I was emailed a link which connected to an image that I downloaded to my iPhone.
Checking in at the gate took no more than a minute; the time necessary to scan the eboarding pass, print the tag for my luggage and provide me with the chit. Not bad.
