I refer to the colour of my hair as platinum blonde. Those less refined say grey. As we came to a stop at the ferry crossing at Cameron Louisiana the attendant said you’re over 65 … no charge. I proceeded onto the boat feeling satisfied and may be a little bit guilty of saving the fare ($1 US).
