Like many people involved with computers I know the power of two [1]. Thirty years ago when I was an assembler programmer I could rattle them off up just like that. Now I don’t care, unless they appear as limitations and express their power in that way.
2 to the power of 31 = 4,294,967,295. My mail archive reached that number on Tuesday. I can no longer archive messages.
