It’s a challenge on so many levels: having something to say; knowing how to say it; knowing how to package it for your audience. Wikipedia characterizes communications as “… the process of exchanging information… ” So we can have information, but if we are unable to exchange or vice versa then we don’t have communications. The subtly of the process–and probably the greatest source of grief–is both sides sharing a common understanding of the information they are exchanging.
