Tuesday night I had a chance to go to the hockey game. The Leafs were playing the Hurricanes. I haven’t been to a game is years and haven’t followed it that closely since I left Montreal in 1979.
But I did enjoy the game, more so than expected. By the end of the second period the Leafs were up 5-1, which is when I left to go home. It was close to 9:00PM, which is getting pretty late for me.
Highlight of the evening (after of course a Leafs win): meeting Darryl Sittler
