We were able to connect with Will today via Skype. The line was dropped a few times, but regardless it was good to see and speak to him. 
He showed us his room, basic but of good size.
He said there are about 20 foreign (English-speaking) teachers, most from the US. He’s met about 15 of them. Some of them have worked at the school for 5 years, which says something positive about the school. The campus is large, about the size of UofT’s downtown campus.
He’s taken pictures, but is having difficulty uploading them; internet line speed is slow. He also noted that access to blogger is blocked. I guess that means he can’t check up on me and what I write 🙂
He also got a cellphone. A Lenovo, for $100 CND; rather expensive:
