New Banner

I posted a new banner photo; one in keeping with the season.  

The shot was taken in Maple Valley Park, just down the street from where we live. It is a panoramic shot combining 8 stills. I used Adobe Photoshop Elements to combine the individual shots into the panorama. I took 7 shots that span about 180 degrees, then I took several shots of myself at different distances. I chose this distance as, in my mind, my presence (visual weight) didn’t overwhelm the shot (i.e., there was balance). I played around with the colour / saturation and contrast and cropped to a Fibonacci ratio. You can see me in the photo twice: once in view, bottom left in shadow.
