Squirrels in the Attic

To get a wisteria to bloom, it has to be pruned.  The recommendation, as I recall, is mid-summer and then again late in the fall.  Since taking up golf wisteria pruning has drawn no priority and thus it has not bloomed.

However, when we discovered squirrels in the attic this winter, I pruned the wisteria as the vines were creeping up the side of the house to the roof, providing a path for the squirrels.

I guess it means you don’t have to do it twice; even a January pruning works.
