Toronto Urban Photography Workshop

I recently attended a workshop hosted by Architect Richard Hulbert. The workshop was sponsored under the Nikonians Academy although I was assured that a Nikon camera was not required.  Overall an excellent course, that offered a different perspective on photography, composition and content (pun intended).  Rick is a full-lifecycle photographer, meaning that he views post-processing equally important as the point of capture and preplanning.

My intent with this shot was to capture people doing things within an architected environment; architecture is about creating an ecology for these things to co-exist in harmony.

I liked the sunlight on the trees; the combination of old and new strucutres; the mixture of concrete and glass; the reflections and the framing of the old concrete structure (Commerce Court North) within the glass towers.
