A couple days ago Linda and I rented some bicycles and rode out of the old city of Brugge into the country side. The route we chose followed a canal that eventually leads to the coast of the North Sea, although we didn’t go that far. The land is very flat and excellent for riding. As well there are many well marked trails to enjoy.
Riding a bike was a bit much for my Dad so yesterday we retraced part of the route by car adding a visit to the village of Sluis just inside the Netherlands. Following that we made our way to the coast.
