Residential Area

This image captured, for me, several elements of homes in the smaller villages of Newfoundland.  Most are covered in clapboard and are of practical design.  The structures are positioned to fit the terrain;  not the other way around.  This can result in what appears to be odd placements (and sometime orientations) of the structures.

This shot might fall under the category of vernacular photography.
