Ice Cubes

While I was taking pictures of some found glasses, I had a thought about using ice as a prop.

The inter-play of light and shadow created various different shapes. For example, in the first one can see on the bottom right, the profile of a person (a Mayan may be) looking down. It speaks to drawing meaning out of the randomness.

The third image is built upon the second by adding layers in photoshops. The outcome is an abstraction fairly fare removed from the original, may be enough to make it unclear what the original object was.
