In the article “These early warning signs of dementia might surprise you, doctors warn“, written by Staff Reporter Kevin Jiang, published in the Toronto Star, among the signs that caught my attention was:

Feeding into this are the delusions and paranoia common in dementia. This can also manifest in unexpected ways, like a patient becoming convinced their spouse is cheating on them or their caregiver is stealing from them, Wong explained.

Or, maybe being convinced you won an election.
