With dinner one evening at the Auberge we enjoyed a local wine, from Domain Les Brome, the local wine district (another change). We were very impressed with the wine so the following day we visited the winery: Léon Courville, vigneron.   

We were visiting a friend who lives in Knowlton and we met her grandson who was being carried away by a giant ballon.

Knowlton is a place I have visited since the early 1970’s.  Between 1974 and 1985 I owned a place just north in Racine Quebec.  So returning to Knowlton is both a walk down memory lane and a comparison of what has changed.  While many things are the same, there are of course some new buildings,…
