The company pin comes with a lot of significance. It can represent some tenure, some accomplishment, but it the end it represents membership.
I received my company pin a couple of weeks ago, and then I was faced with the task of where to wear it. Traditionally, such pin were worn on the collar of a jacket, but since I don’t regularly wear a jacket, I thought a shirt collar would do.
Considering my usual attire, a dress shirt, I thought on the pocket would be nice. Sort of like a monogram.
Yet it was with no lack of inspiration, and some prodding from the admin. assistants, that porting the pin as a fashion statement entered the stage of alternatives.
I think I’ll go with the monogram.
