Between May 15th and 31st Linda and I travelled to Europe to see our daughter compete in the World Championship for Aesthetic Gymnastics, which were being held in Denmark, just out side Copenhagen.
A lot of people ask what this sport is: it’s basically like Rhythmic Gymnastics but without the ribbons, hoops and clubs.
We left home on the 15th and arrived in Frankfurt the morning of the 16th. From there we picked up our car and drove to Sonneberg. This is where my father was born.
