Today, as is often the case, I returned home late, after a series of meetings that continued throughout the day. As I walked in the door, my wife greeted me with a kiss and a cheerful “hello, how was your day.” I retreated to the den, where I turned on the TV and caught up on events. Subsequently, my wife came in with a fully cooked dinner.
