It has been cold and cold for what seems an interminable amount of time and it just keeps on going. This morning when I got into my car it reported -19C.
After greeting the receptionist at my club this morning she asked how I was. I responded with a terse “cold.” She said if it goes on much longer I’m going to cry. I felt the same way.
The last day it was above freezing was January 18th at 9PM and then it was only able to surface less than one half of one miserable Celsius degrees above zero.
Although out of character, I’ll take pity on those who live North of Highway 7; for them the drought has been longer and more severe.
