I’ve run into several technical challenges. All the hotels that did advertise Internet access have provided it and in every case it’s been WiFi and / or via a PC located in or near the lobby.
The first challenge has been to find the WiFi signal. In the 2 or3 places I have been able to find it I have not been able to post to my blog (and other series of technical hurdles here).
Where there is no WiFi most of the local PCs use IE 6.0 which is no longer supported by the web sites I deal with.
There seems to be technical hurdle on each route I take. Twitter seems to be the easiest at this point to provide micro updates. I’ll have to post the daily entire I keep on my iPhone when I return.
It’s all very frustrating.
