During our stay in Nassau we visited the above zoo. It’s a compact zoo, hosting mostly birds, small mammals and some snakes. It’s an opportunity to get some shots that would otherwise be difficult if not impossible to get.
A Macaw: This bird was on a perch in the open so I was able to get in quite close and use my 14-45mm lens, which has autofocus. I was lucky to get a nice light effect.

A Jaguar: This was shot through a cage which is partially visible as a bit of blur in the shot. Although shot with a manual focus lens the cat was kind enough to hold his pose while I focused the lens
