Harrold and Wilson Ponds National Park

in

On my list of photography objectives was to capture some birds.  The zoo served to realize some of those; Harrold and Wilson Ponds National Park helped on the rest. We visited this park almost every morning just after sun rise. There were a good number of birds, mostly Egrets, but not the same variety that we saw last year in Florida.   This year I wanted to capture birds in flight.  A challenge with a manual-focus lens. As well, it requires a shutter speed of at least 1/1000 second, so there needs to be enough light as well.
