This shot was first processed  with Nik Color Efex Pro.  I used the following filters: Polarization; Dark Contrasts; Extract Details; Brilliance & Warmth; indian Summer, Skylight; Flood light; Darken Center; Image Boarder.  When I use the Dark Contrasts filter I often use the remove control over the sky so that that area is not affected by the filter.

Following that I converted it to black & white with Silver Efex.  I chose a sepia tone to give the picture a more classic, country look as well as vignetting (brightening) to focus on the farmhouse.  The other effect of vignetting is to simply the image.
