Today is the shortest day of 2014. To be precise, the sun will reach its most southerly declination of -23.5 degrees at 18:03 Eastern Time today.
Today there remain just 19 days until my prelude to retirement. In retrospect, I realise I have planned poorly as these remaining days will be the shortest of the year. Rather, June would have been a better time.
Oh well, next time. A learning for those who follow.
