On our way back to Thornhill we stopped to visit my Dad’s cousin in Wisconsin.
While there we went to a local attraction, the House on the Rock, which is a residence designed and built by Alex Jordan. Construction began in 1945 and completed in 1959. The house itself is purched upon a large monolith above a forest.
But the house is just one part of the attraction; the other is the collections. There were several collections, such as guns, organs, music machines, merry-go-rounds, doll houses … It was truly incredible.
