Climbing the Edge
It took an hour-and-a-half to climb from the bottom of the top of the escarpment, about 5km, and a little less to come down. All in, we were there about two hours.

We chose our time to visit the Edge (Jebel Fihrayn) to coincide with sunset. The escarpment faces due west and coupled with its altitude and unobstructed view is a good spot to see the sun set.…
