Our three-week trip began on October 6th when we landed in Barcelona. We picked up our car, which included wireless data, and drove to Carcassonne France, then Andorra La Vella, followed by Tossa De Mar on Spain’s Costa Brava. We stayed in each place just two nights, which was enough to get a taste, but maybe not a meal. We returned to Barcelona, met Eric and Alba and began our grand tour of Spain.

Hiking
Read more: HikingOn our second day in Andorra we hiked into the Madriu Valley. Our destination in the valley was a little hut named Refugi Fontverd. For the most part the trek was up hill making the journey a little longer than anticipated. However the return was that much easier as well.

Tossa de Mar
Read more: Tossa de MarWe’re back in Spain, to the Costa Brava, just north of Barcelona. While largely a tourist area, the season is closing down; some operations will suspend operations until next year, some restaurants are closed. There are no crowds to speak of. The scenery remains.

Toledo
Read more: ToledoIt’s been difficult to keep up the posts. I’ve missed those for Barcelona, Valencia, Granada, Cadiz, Seville, and Cordoba. But now we are in Toledo. The shot below was taken from our suite over looking the old city and the Catedral Primada.
