It’s hard to believe. I have been retired 3-1/2 years. It seems like a lifetime. But a worthwhile time.
I went to a friend’s retirement party last night. It was a chance to get together with past work-friends and catch up with everyone: their travels; their grandchildren … Very pleasant. Everyone was asked to give one piece of advice to help properly set the course for the newly-minted retiree. Mine was make sure your wife has a good hobby.
But, best of all, by 9 PM everyone was ready to leave.
